Rich is a native of Johnson City. He began his ministry at Mountain View in 2004, where he served 8 years as the Youth Pastor. He has been the Senior Pastor since August, 2012.  He holds a Masters in Christian Studies from Union University.  He also has a B.S. degree in Construction Engineering Technology from East Tennessee State University and a M.S. in education from Arkansas State University.  In addition to pastoring Mountain View, Rich is a construction teacher at Science Hill High School.  He has been married to his beautiful wife Penny for 36 years and they have 3 children. His son Josh and wife Meme live in Bristol, TN and have two sons, Ollie & Elijah, and one daughter, Maggie. Rich and Penny's daughter Natalie and her husband Brett live in Jacksonville, FL. Their youngest son, Noah, still lives at home and attends Greeneville High School.
